Sorry it's been a while...

So I've had the same class of sixth graders since last Friday. Three language arts classes, two geography classes, some of the kids I see twice in one day because they take both from the same teacher.

Ugh, sorry posts have been so scarce this week--I've been feeling weirdly stressed and fragile (which, apparently not a PMS thing (yet?), but I've never been a weepy PMS-er before). My pretty girl, Maya, has been having sudden hip problems (and i mean sudden, literally started yesterday morning), and I'm probably going to take her to the vet tomorrow, but I wondered if you guys had any advice in the meantime?

I got a reply back from the writing tutor job people wanting an interview (after they made me describe the use of a comma a WEEK ago)--but this is the job where they warn that they could HIRE you and not USE you, so you might not actually get PAID. Still, i need to line that shit up.

• my period started!!!

• had to drive an hour into town in the rain with no radio and squeaky windshield wipers
